About Us
Both Irene and Simon are serious amateur photographers and we love photography very much. Practicing as lawyers in Hong Kong, photography and (for Irene) crafts make our limited leisure time colorful and pleasurable. Definitely, we enjoy our works from our "second lives" much more, and we hope you will enjoy them too.

"Photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art" - Ansel Adams. This reflects our personal view of photography, and is something that we are still attempting to achieve.

Northern Italy - Cinque Terre : We haven't been the Cinque Terre (五鄉地) before but it is definitely a place highly recommended for a real break. The Cinque Terre comprises of five villages along the western coast of Italy, and is part of the Cinque Terre National Park, which is one of the world heritage sites. It only took us about an hour train from Genoa on 10 September, and we had great time there until 14 September when we left for Verona (actually we had a day trip to Portofino on 13 September). We stationed at one of the villages, Monterosso, which has the largest beach among the five villages. The villages are connected with trains, and alos hiking trails with amazing views, which take only a few hours on foot to complete (of course it is not possible because you will spend hours to take photos!). The spectacular landscape, the old lovely towns, the cliff-side terrace and beautiful beaches can never be missed.

Northern Italy - our first stop: Genoa : Our northern Italy trip started with Milan as we landed there, but actually Genoa is the first city that we stayed in this trip. We didn't have high expectation from this city - just want a short break there after long flight and before getting to Cinque Terre. But Genoa didn't disappoint us. We did have a lot of walks in this city. Excellent seafood, and people there are very nice. Not really a place for "hea", though - and one full day is enough. For information to those friends who love photography, gears involved include D800E plus a 14-24, 24-70 and 28-300, and M9 with a prime 35.
